Committee meetings are held every month on completion of the Monthly Medal event. Members wishing to have a matter considered by the Committee should contact any of the above.
New members wanting to obtain a handicap are also invited to contact Chris Lang, David Bryant or any other Committee member for advice and/or card marking
Club Competitions and Friendly Matches
The Seniors Section has a busy calendar of Club Events and Friendly Matches (home and away) against other clubs in the area.
Each month throughout the year there is a strokeplay Medal competition and a Stableford Summer Wine competition. In addition to having winners on the day, points are awarded for the top 10 finishers in these two events. The player having the highest points total from 8 rounds over 12 months in the Medal events wins the Millennium Cup and in the Summer Wine competition, the Summer Wine Cup.
Many other trophies are competed for during the season in what are generally Stableford competitions. Ever popular friendlies with the Ladies Section are also held during the summer.
This year there will be team Friendly Matches against 12 other clubs. These are keenly contested but very sociable occasions, which provide an opportunity to play on different courses within about 35 miles and always include a meal together afterwards.
