In joining Broome Manor Golf Club, you have joined one of the most successful golf clubs in the South of England. The club has a number of accomplished players and has enjoys considerable success at County and National level. Despite this pedigree, it is a friendly club which strives to accommodate players at all levels with a range of competitions for players of all handicap levels.
The rules for obtaining a recognised handicap are shown in the Information Section of the Club Diary.
Handicaps are allotted and altered in accordance with the EGU regulations and procedures.
The Handicap and Competition Committee may adjust players handicaps under CONGU rule 23 when players general play does not reflect their handicap.
Ultimately, it is each players responsibility to ensure that their handicap is up-to-date and accurate. If players have entered a recognised away competition they must inform the Secretary of their scores and the CSS for the competition.
