To obtain a handicap you must submit 3 cards, one of which must be marked by a committee member of BMGC Ladies Section. To assist you in getting your cards marked, please contact Rosie Law, who will arrange partners for you. It is a good way of getting to know other members.
If you are a member of another club, you must allocate one as your 'home' club for handicap purposes.
Handicaps are allotted and altered in accordance with the Ladies Golf Union regulations and procedures.
The Competition book in the Ladies Changing room MUST be signed BEFORE playing in all competitions apart from Open and Mixed Events. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
Drawn Events are competitions where an entry sheet is posted on the board and tee times and partners are allocated by the committee. The following information should be noted:-
If your name is not on the board by the closing date and you want to play in the competition you should contact the Competition Secretary, who may enter you as a reserve
If you have entered a Drawn Event and cannot play on the day of the competition, then you MUST contact the Competition Secretary or another committee member, otherwise you will be disqualified from the next 2 Drawn Events.
Under no circumstances may you alter the Tee Times or Draw once the Committee has posted up the Order of Play.
